Welcome to OMT Colts Cricket 2008

The OMT Colts were established in 2003, and 60 boys and girls aged 6-12 joined in the fun. Through the last five summers, a growing number of boys and girls have enjoyed Sunday morning coaching led by our team of ECB qualified coaches, ably assisted by a number of parents.

We will be again holding our 2008 coaching sessions at MERCHANT TAYLORS SCHOOL. This fantastic news will mean that we can once again provide some of the best facilities in the area for our coaching staff in which to develop our Colts.

In 2008, as in previous years, we will have fixtures at under-10, under-11 and under-13 levels. We also hope to arrange several friendly fixtures against local clubs at other age groups.

The Colts section is committed to the development of young cricketers and to upholding the spirit of the game of cricket, ensuring matches and coaching sessions are conducted safely and under the guidelines of the English Cricket Board (ECB). We aim to ensure that all our colts enjoy their cricket at OMTCC, and develop their skills in a safe, but fun, environment.
